Personality |
Amefuri is generally a private if somewhat blunt person,
although she quickly becomes argumentative when challenged. Her
primary influence when growing up was her older brother, Mikata,
who had a really twisted sense of humour and liked making his
little sister's life difficult. Unfortunately, it's not easy to
tell the difference between Amefuri upset because someone
angered her and Amefuri upset because she likes you and now
feels its okay to challenge your opinion. Generally, she keeps
her own counsel and tries to fade into the background around
people she truly dislikes.Amefuri also likes fixing things
with her hands and has a very strong sense of duty. Despite her
distrust of Sailor Senshi in general, she will do what's
necessary if duty is invoked (although a threat to tattle on her
to her brother, Mikata, works just as well). |
|
Background |
Amefuri and Mikata come from the Kakusu clan of planet Ryuza, of
the Kui-Shen solar system. Their parents were determined to
teach their children the clan secrets just in case the Kui-Shen
interplanetary civil war (which had been going on for so long
that everyone just accepted it as a fact of life) ever got as
far as their hometown.
So they did. Then the war arrived and, after all sorts of
things happening, Mikata joined the Ryuza military and Amefuri
was sent the Priestess Order to become an assistant to the
then-current Sailor Epsilon. She was in the running to become a
successor to the aging Senshi when she heard that Mikata was
killed. She abandoned the Order and joined the military to find
out what happened.
Eventually she worked her way into her older brother's team
but nobody really knew what happened to Mikata. Much later,
Amefuri botched a solo mission to find out what Sol's Senshi
were up to and, upon her return to Ryuza, found herself in the
middle of all sorts of political intrigue that ended in her
getting stripped of her powers and was exiled to Earth to await
punishment.
Once she arrived, Amefuri was disgusted to discover that not
only had she been named Sailor Epsilon's successor but was stuck
on a planet that attracted trouble and Senshi like nobody's
business. She holed herself in an abandoned mountain shrine that
was hours away from civilization (at the time) and stayed put
until modern day, determined to wait out everything thanks to
the Kui-Shen peoples' incredible life-span. |

Factions |

- Dreamscape Senshi (leader)
- Stone Warrior |
|
Powers |
| (1) |
Unreliable clairvoyance - She can't control when she
gets visions, what they contain, how long they last, and the
visions are picture-only. Packaged with her particular brand
of clairvoyance is a really weak sense of direction so Amefuri
routinely gets lost in her own neighbourhood. |
| |
|
| (2) |
Crystal Soul Storm! |
| |
"Crystal Soul" activates the stone on her
staff and creates the crystal ropes. "Storm" makes the crystal
shatter into shards that explode after 10 second delay,
otherwise, the "ropes" stick around for about an hour. |
| |
|
| (3) |
Void Protection |
| |
Short-range
defensive move where Epsilon creates a vortex of crystal
shards around herself that weakens or redirects most low-level
attacks. |
| |
|
| (4) |
Shadow of Truth |
| |
Psychic attack that
requires an unobstructed line-of-sight. Epsilon pulls an
energy spear from the crystal on her chest and throws it at a
single target to force them to view a random buried memory |
