Personality |
Mikata tends to give the impression he
knows more than he should but isn't talking, yet. He is a
thoughtful person who tends to give people benefit of the doubt
despite his persona feelings. However, he is a master grudge
holder and returns slights with interest. It's not unusual for
him to wait several years before getting his revenge. However,
those that win his trust find that he is the kind of person that
likes to mercilessly tease those close to him. While that
experience isn't always a pleasant one, Mikata is more than
willing to let friends full use of any knowledge, wealth or
influence he has gained over the many years of his life.More
than anything else, Mikata is an overbearing big brother who
hates to see his little sister, Amefuri, get picked on by anyone
but him. And maybe his best friend, Kouhei, if Mikata's in a
good mood. |
|
Background |
Mikata had always been able to see auras but it was his father
who taught him what the colours meant. His parents took it upon
themselves to teach him how control the unusually high Ryuzan
mental powers he and Amefuri inherited from them. As he grew
more proficient, his mother warned him that needed to protect
his little sister if anything happened to them. Of course, he
didn't want to be tied to a sibling for the rest of his life but
he promised her none-the-less.Shortly after that, Mikata left
to join the Ryuzan military to further his training and became
fast friends with Kouhei, who had also entered a specialized
division nicknamed the "Silver Shadows" because of the absurd
amount of shiny material used in their uniforms. During a trip
with Kouhei to Mikata's hometown, the village was attacked by a
force unlike the usual attackers used by the other two Kui-Shen
planets. Mikata's mother disappeared during the conflict and
Kouhei barely managed to protect Amefuri in Mikata's place.
Mikata decided to leave her in the care of the Priestess Order
of Epsilon and returned to the military.
He continued leading his team and refusing to go home,
leaving an exasperated Kouhei (now second in command) to check
up on Mikata's little sister in his place. Then, one day, Mikata
never returned from his mission and was declared MIA but as good
as dead by the other men.
Mikata was presumed dead until he turned up centuries later
in the possession of strange new powers. |

- Stone Warrior (emerald) |
|
Powers |
| (1) |
Aura Sight - He can activate the ability to see auras
and interpret the colours/shape/etc to learn various things
about them but is limited to roughly 30 seconds of use every
twenty four hours. |
| |
|
| (2) |
Gate |
| |
It lowers the barriers protecting the manor he
uses as his main base and teleports himself plus two guests
there. |
| |
|
| (3) |
Night |
| |
Defensive illusion
move that has the Nocturne Emblem quickly absorb the visible
light in the area to temporarily blind people in area. Effect
weakens as he expands the area he's trying to darken, with a
maximum range of roughly thirty metres. |
| |
|
| (4) |
Nocturne Blade |
| |
His most powerful
move combines the power of the Gate and Night moves. He is
given short-range teleportation abilities and uses darkness
caused by Night allow him to morph the Nocturne Emblem into a
one-handed sword. But since the sword is the Nocturne Emblem
is essentially Mikata's soul, any damage to the blade
will cause severe damage to his physical and mental health.
Even if the Nocturne Emblem is repaired, there is no guarantee
that the damage will be fully reversed. |
