Disclaimer

Although all content is based on Sailor Moon by Naoko Takeuchi, only the structure of the universe created by Sailor Moon is used in my fan senshi project, Reflection. This mean, you will never see any of Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Senshi (Moon, Mercury, etc) in any of the stories published on this site and there will only be vague references to things that happened in the anime/manga.

 

Story Summary

The Moon Kingdom of the Sol System is well known in other solar systems for the trouble attracted by the presence of the most powerful item in the universe, the Ginzuishou/Silver Moon Crystal. There are Sailor Senshi from other solar systems that were also attracted to the power of the Ginzuishou and wished to aid or hinder the efforts of Sailor Moon's Senshi after arriving on Earth. However, the Sailor Senshi of the Kui-Shen solar system did not number amongst those curious senshi.

In the Kui-Shen system there is only a passing interest in the affairs of their noisy galactic neighbour, the Sol System, because of the interplanetary civil war that requires the full attention and resources of the three worlds of Kui-Shen.  The Kui-Shen Wars began long before the rise of the old Moon Kingdom and shows no signs of a truce even when the reincarnations of Sol's Sailor Senshi revive in Japan.

Everyone in the Kui-Shen system has been trained in their planet-specific powers to be able to support their world's Senshi and Guardian if the war arrives in their area or, if need be, to immediately step into role of Senshi or Guardian when the current one falls in battle. The Sailor Senshi of Kui-Shen are considered as being a vaguely religious planetary guard who are, in theory, independent but have strong ties to the military in reality.

It is against this backdrop when Amefuri, the newly activated Sailor Epsilon of Ryuza, returned from a failed reconnaissance mission to the Sol System to find her team disbanded due to accusations of treason. She was sent to Earth to gather information while waiting for punishment and she made her home in a quiet valley outside of the Tokyo core in Japan for several centuries.

Despairing of ever returning home before her health and powers are permanently ruined by the exile, Amefuri refuses to get herself involved with the affairs of the Sailor Senshi gathering in Tokyo, be they from Sol or elsewhere. Centuries pass peacefully before the visitors from Kui-Shen arrive and makes contact with Sailor Epsilon.

Amefuri is forced into active duty as the Kui-Shen Wars reach to Earth.
